Receiving Financial Aid Funds
To receive financial aid funds students need to fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form also know as the FAFSA form. The first application to be completed in order to apply for virtually all types of Federal financial aid for higher education. This form is distributed and processed by the United States Department of Education. For information on the FAFSA form please click here.
In some cases students will have to fill out an additional financial aid form called the CSS Profile form. This form is used by certain colleges to determine financial aid eligibility. College Scholarship Service (CSS) is an application required by some private colleges and universities to determine eligibility for non-federal financial aid. If you are required to fill out the CSS Profile form you still have to fill out the FAFSA form. For information on the CSS Profile form please click here.
